Well mate I don't know where to start. I suppose Ill go general and work my way to smaller things.
Ok so first thing, it's not drum n bass music. Although the tempo might be right, the percussion does not follow any typicality of dnb. My advice is to try to imitate other dnb artists to try to get the style down before adding your own originality.
The samples used are basically the most generic sounding FL studio sounds you could get. Try to work on changing knobs around a lot and making sounds more your own, putting more effects and what not.
The melody works fine but it's very simplistic and theres only one synth and one version of the melody. Try using other instruments to play the same melody or come up with other melodies that would go along with it.
The structure is actually fine for the most part, but seeing as all the sequencing is so abstract and off, it would be hard not to have interesting structure.
Overall I think you should work on your songs having all the qualities a song should have first. So look into making basslines, leads, and percussion, and make them all go together nicely.
Thats my best advice for a beginner like you. Try not to take it insulting at all, its just critical. If you need any help learning FL studio there are great video tutorials all over youtube and if you are stubbed on something you can always PM me a question and I'll get back to you ASAP. Anyways good luck with music.
Cheers!

Thanks man. This is one thing iv'e wanted, for people to actually respond with advice. One thing is that i have the demo for FL... and being 14 i don't have an income to buy the real thing :( But the one thing i find really annoying for me is that i know that my songs are bad but don't really know how to build them so that they sound good. I also find that i try and replicate another Dnb Riff or something but i cant seem to find out how to do it quite as fast on FL or get it right with the FL beat system. I also find that most songs i hear these days sound nice and layered with different drum beats and nice background sound which makes the music sound full and not empty of sound. I should also point out that if i were to really try to make a song on FL it would be better than this, its just at the moment i am restricted by the fact that i can't save anything so i have to finish it all at once or not at all and so time is a factor. And i am also restricted by the FL Demo features etc
Thanks a lot though, for the advice and i will come back with something better if i ever get to buy Fl, or another program like it. Are there any other suggestions of better programs i could use instead?
Thanks
Murry

Funny thing dubstep. I just started listening to it too and decided to do a track as well. One thing that going to such a slow BPM does to people is makes their beats more simplistic and slow, and this effect seems to have gotten to you a little. I think the percussion, excluding the snare, was a little too much in the back of the mix, and could use some more variation or complexity/originality.
You definitely have the style of dubstep right, but the structure is a bit off. Most tracks have really similar structure to DnB tracks. The standard is near as such:
The Introduction - thirty seconds to two minutes with no bassline or hard hitting drums mostly
The drop - bring in that reese and the main percs and keep it going for a minute or two steady. Variation is fine but keeping the beat for dancing
The dowhateveryouwant - after that it's pretty much up to you on how to do breakdowns/bridges to second themes/outros/etc...
But then again not everyone goes for industry standard structure music, especially here on newgrounds, so I don't hold anything against ya for it. I'm just advising. Overall its a solid track and I've added you to my being watched list (the not creepy musician kind of list haha) so I can look into you further.
Cheers!

Thank you man, you have definitely helped me. Yeah, I tend to stay away from the typical structure because it's...well...typical, and the only way to make any noise on NG is to be different. As for the quality of the percussion, etc., it was unavoidable because I produced this on my laptop - not exactly the best method for mastering lol. And then my desktop speakers are all sorts of funky, so I'm probably gonna have to find some new speakers. I personally love thumping, balls-to-the-wall drums for this kinda stuff, which I tried to do, but hey, it sounds totally different through everyone's set of speakers. With that said, thanks again for the input, and I'll most def keep you on my watch list as well!

I'm terrible at handling fast solos so kudos mate. I would go into depth on this but I think the review request club has it handled haha. Anyways, If you check your Rithum post I gave a nice little intro tutorial.
Cheers!

lol ok thanks dude
well u already have gr8 reviews but here's my take
Overall the ambient side really stuck out to me the most, but the DnB section does not really work in my opinion. Then the glitchy DnB outro into ambient was delicious.

First, I think the filters you used in the beginning combined with the slightly detuned sounding piano of a beautiful melody gave it a good but slightly creepy feeling atmosphere. Which I think is pretty wicked.
When you dropped into the first main percussion at 0:37, some of your mixing seems overdone. This may be where our tastes differ the most, but your percussion seems like it has overly extreme reverb on it, which you might think maybe counters the really filtered intro, but actually just sounds awkward in comparison to both the melody and the genre. It's almost like your listening to a song with a really good mix but in a small closed off cave. And in the cave you cant feel the percussion so much because of all the reverberations of the music taking up space instead of possible intricately creating more percussion layers or having any instruments with effects or having dynamics change more.
When you dropped into the glitchy DnB section around 1:34 the reverb fit very well because the IDM style DnB glitch like that does not stray from that in regards to genre and works much better with the IDM ambient style then pure DnB. The last part was my favorite for sure.
Melody: 10/10
Structure:8/10
Percussion: 7:10
Overall:8/10
If anything doesn't make sense it's I'm on drugs, Cheers!

heavy reeverb is probably the number one thing that people tell me that dont like about my precussion, and honestly, i think the only thing that was really reeverbed was my snare, but w/e, point is yeah i put alot of reeverb on stuff, but i like it that way xD
dont worry my good friend, it all made sense, what are you on?

Hey I like your lead synth. Ignoring the fact that tetris is either the most or second most remixed song ever, the songs itself has some key issues: Synths are overly present, percussion is overly simplistic, and the bassline sounds almost like a lead(too high pitch). These give it an overall low energy feel. My suggestion would be to get a punchier kick and add some other perc instruments, then reEQ that bassline to get out its muddiness(probably 200-350hz lowered would do it) and boost its bass(40-150hz). Don't worry though a lot of people won't notice but im a mix whore. Anyways fun song, love the synths, Cheers!

Wow, thanks i always enjoy a good critic. It is a shame that i onley have acces to garageband other wise this remix would have been a real sweet one. i will do a second version with all of this tooken in count. Thanks ;)
ps
some time around the end the kick got a little wierd, i dont know why tho

Delicious stuff mate. This must have been what it sounded like when Bach was screwing around on the harpsichord haha. My only critique goes towards the transitions which seem a little abrupt at parts. I can totally tell where you picked up after the two week gap. Anyways I checked out your songs in general and you seem to be a good pick to watch for so kudos on the piano piece. 9/10, 5/5, artist favorited for further investigations. Cheers!

Awesome :d thanks man... Ha Maybe I might be the next bach... lol, yeah right, he was amazing. Thanks again :D

Hey there mate this is a solid sounding track. Newgrounds is too far up it's own ass to realize it that's all. The melody and harmony were fantastic, and the structure was decent too; good non overused transitions.
You could really use some mix work though. Possibly work on your EQ skills thats the most important one. Fuzzy bass, low volume kick thats not very punchy, piano is hardly present even though its really loud, other synths that make transitions great arent present easily either; these are all things EQing could fix. Anyways I'm just a technical whore, good song and as always, Cheers!

Wow mate, this is a pretty long track. I hope you plan this to make it into some DJ mixes because as a song on it's own my critique goes towards two things:
1 - There's no intro
2 - Overly generic
As for positives:
1 - Great mix. Everything seems nicely EQ'd and all that jazz.
2 - Harmony and Melody both sound really good.
All around ok track. Cheers!

Thanks for the comment.
This track is in Club mix format... it's so it can be easily mixed with other tracks.
thanks again for the comment :)
